The BakePacker accessory cooking system was discovered as the result of an attempt to reheat prepared foods, in winter conditions, for American G.I.’s. As work progressed, it became apparent that this little device could do much more than simply reheat rations.
Further research and development introduced BakePacker to the outdoorsman looking for a better way to prepare his food.
Today, we provide the BakePacker system to campers and backpackers around the world. Many Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in U.S. councils use BakePacker in their training programs. The BakePacker was specifically requested by Will Steger’s international team of explorers on it’s historic 1990 trek across Antarctica.
